Seeking Full Time Maintenance Team Leader for Leadership Position

About Your Role
As the Maintenance Team Leader, your overall goal is to lead a crew of approximately 2-4 employees in landscaping maintenance projects and services all while ensuring the services are completed according to our high-quality standards. Leadership skills are essential as you handle the management of employees – from training and supervising, to encouraging and coaching. You will also be responsible for overall job management which will include maintaining all efficiency hours for each property/job, submitting timesheets, and ensuring each job is tasked, supplied and prepped in advance. Safety is of course a central purpose of your position. Leading by example, you and your team will follow all state laws as well as company policies while consistently adhering to all safety guidelines. In the end, you will work to ensure that the quality of work performed is in alignment with the company’s standards.
Position Overview :
· Ensures the landscaping maintenance of private and commercial properties are done according to the standards and client specifications
· Responsible for loading and unloading proper equipment (mowers, fuel, supplies) for the day and prepping for the following day
· Provides exceptional customer service by interacting with clients and managing reasonable changes to the job plan, all while exceeding customer expectations
· Addresses any issues that arise and report to the Owner as needed
· Actively encourages and coaches employees whose quality or performance do not meet standards
· Ensures all laws, regulations, and company safety policies are strictly followed by the entire crew while driving vehicles and maintaining properties, and works to maintain a clean and safe work environment
· Certifies daily timesheets by completing, signing, and turning them in when work has been completed
· Attend leadership meetings and team training sessions
· Maintains the proper care of issued truck, trailer, and equipment, reporting any issues or servicing needs to the Owner

About Your Qualifications:
· Minimum of two years work experience in the lawn maintenance/landscaping industry
· Holds a high school diploma, GED, or vocational/construction trade school certificate
· Currently Valid Drivers License
· Knowledge of general landscape maintenance practices
· Ability to work in various weather conditions and across uneven terrain for extended periods of time
· Strong attention to detail, especially in terms of safety protocols
· Ability to follow through and ensure projects are completed
· Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
· Capability to regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
· Ability to provide excellent references with respect to reliability and a strong work ethic
Job Type: Full Time
Hours: 35-45 per week; M-F 6:00am-2:30pm
Salary: Starting at $18-22 per hour, depending on experience
